Are we judging them based on how they looked before or after facing Floyd? :dwillhuh:

Before.

It wouldn't be fair to discredit them after they lost to Floyd.
before and their overall status at the time of the fight..if judah hadn't lost to baldomir i might have him in the top spot
Oh.....well in that case...

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez

Baldomir, Mosley, Oscar, Corrales, Castillo, Maidana, Marquez, Cotto, and Ortiz were also up for debate, but ultimately, I'd go with Canelo

There's no right or wrong answers brehs.

Just wanted to get y'all opinion on who is the best fighter Floyd fought. I broke mine down into weight classes, because of course Maidana would be much too big for Genaro Hernandez....but Genaro was the better fighter:manny:

DLH. He had the best credentials out of all of them.

That's true, but he wasn't "prime" at that point even though he fought a good match and was still a good fighter at 154.

I would favor the Canelo that Floyd fought over the DLH that Floyd fought.

I'm gonna go with the boxer that was at his best at that time.

Which is Diego Corrales. At the time they fought, Chico was undefeated, was the #1 ranked Super Featherweight in the world, and Top 5 P4P. He was ranked higher than Floyd (pretty sure that was the last time he fought somebody ranked higher than him).

And Floyd completely dominated him
