Most definitely.

The N.E.R.D. albums especially In Seach Of ... is some of their best work. "Someday" for Scarface is also underrated. Common's "Come Close", their remix of the Jackson 5's "Never Can Say Goodbye" and their remix to Daft Punk's "Stonger, Better, Faster" are all slept on gems.

It was well appreciated at the time tbh - they were front/center of an era that started to put a spotlight back on producers. The mainstream even learnt the name enough that Pharrell got a solo career and N*E*R*D we're still touring globally for decades.

Low-key The Neptune's and Timbaland becoming household names paved the way for mainstream fans to fall head-over-heels for Kanye. :yeshrug:
