This is the question though, which album y'all think is better? Which one y'all done fukked with more throughout the years?
Chronic or Black Mafia Life? Real talk....
Tell the truth....I was bumpin both them shyts when they dropped. Me personally, I liked BML more, the shyt was just darker, more sinister, back then I was really big on that sound.
To this day I play BML more than the Chronic. Chronic was bangin tho, everybody and they mama had that tape.
Nickel Slick nikka is one of my ten favorite hip hop songs
No offense breh, but this gotta be the most generic dre answer everCause nobody else was doin that kinda shyt at the time and it made everybody from West to the South finally see that u didn't have to piggyback off in sound or rhymes NYC just to get heard by a major...Dre has his flaws but he was the "go to" cat in SoCal for a long ass time
What exactly do you want to discuss? You're our resident West Coast expert who isn't afraid of deep music discussion.
What exactly do you want to discuss?
Ok,chronic came out before black mafia life and doggystyle came out before uncle cam's curse /threadAnswer to thread topic, obviously
No offense breh, but this gotta be the most generic dre answer ever
I'm west coast thru and thru, dre's sound shaped my formative years, but his g-funk? I'm calling a spade a spade, and afterward, he had as many co-producers as ye has co-writers
