It’s frightening how fast the shift has happened too. Feels like yesterday that the Celtics, after losing the finals because the got killed on the glass in game 7, spent their draft picks on a pair of guys who’s only assets as nba players was “they’re tall”. Those guys weren’t even on the team a year later and neither was Perkins . Remember when Joel Anthony was a starting center for the team expected to win it all? Imagine him getting minutes on a contender today. Those old pistons games where first to 80-85 was usually the winner if the score even got that high.
