That doesn't at all imply he doesn't think WWE is racist or found the shirt offensive once he saw it on a black background.
Saying he didn't approve of the design and the merch team lied to him and posting private emails, then later saying he did approve the design but for a different color shirt and didn't see the problem until it was on a black shirt and it was changed immediately when he brought up his concerns and never went to production, then deleting most of the tweets he's had today sounds like he just wants out. It doesn't mean he doesn't believe what he said nor that it didn't happen the way he said or that his thoughts are invalid. No one with any sense will ever argue that WWE doesn't have a long, long history of racism and still treats minority talents like lessers.
