@Cboz78 been going awfully hard in this thread opposing everything :mjpls:

I agreed on everything he was about. It did look like blackface while on a black shirt. Then we heard how the shirt was made. He seems to be taking this pretty far. Like I said not sure what he wants. Seems like he wants out. Just come out and say it and stop deleting tweets if he means what he says. Also he had no character in NXT. He was just an athletic guy that smiled, basically Apollo Crews.

He deleted the tweet about approving the design on a white shirt. I replied to it and now it's gone.

Edit: Here is the quote. Since been deleted. Not sure why tho.

"'I'm far from perfect. I'm willing to do anything for the job of my dreams to make things work for both parties.

I only agreed to the shirt because it was shown to me on a white tee. Once placed on a black tee you can clearly see the racist intentions. https://t.co/p5a3uAyZpX— Jordan Myles (@GoGoMyles) October 28, 2019"

It did have a gray variation but it's obviously too late and besides the point.

Here's proof. Top row. 3rd shirt. Crazy how it's the only gray shirt, like they knew but made it anyway.

Just do people know, he may have not deleted the tweets, i heard WWE makes you give up your password to your social media accounts when you sign up.

In an update, the former ACH and winner of the 2019 NXT Breakout Tournament took to Twitter this morning and responded to a fan who asked if the WWE statement was true.

Myles responded, "When I originally saw the design I was uncomfortable. Rather than addressing the issue I decided to counter offer with another. Baker Landon lied to my face! He said HHH wanted this design so my hands were tied. I spoke with @TripleH in person and his impression was I approved"

In another tweet, Myles included a screenshot of his e-mail from Baker Landon and told him, "GFYS!"

Myles captioned the e-mail screenshot with, "Don't believe me? Email him and ask him yourself. GFYS Baker!"

The September 11 e-mail from Baker read like this: "Hey Albert, Triple H attended a meeting and had a revision for your logo, but loved it for your character. He wanted to the letter to be more 'teethy' and what I have attached is what he liked. Also have basic t-shirts on there that he approved as well. Road Dogg preferred the gray, but let us know what you think! Thanks, Baker"
Myles posted another tweet that called out the company for employing WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

He wrote, "THE WHOLE WWE SYSTEM IS FRAUD! THEY CREATED THIS SYSTEM WHERE YOU CANT TRUST ANYONE, YOU GROW COLD, AND YOU GROW APART FROM WHAT YOU LOVE THE MOST! The fact that @HulkHogan is still employed after giving the locker room an apology for being caught says enough. #ForTheCulture"Myles then tweeted a video that said, "WWE doesn't care about black people."

Myles also called out Ring of Honor and Jay Lethal.

He tweeted a photp of Lethal in ROH and wrote, "f--k ROH TOO! The only allowed ONE African American to be the "Top Guy" while guys like @cedricAlexander TD, @malcolmvelli and myself had to chase this visible carrot a stick. Name another African American who was reached great heights there other than this Uncle Tom"

Gotcha

No - you did. You insinuated it could be less about 'a movement' but rather his own financial gain, because he chose to delete tweets.

Your own exact words.

That doesn't at all imply he doesn't think WWE is racist or found the shirt offensive once he saw it on a black background.

Saying he didn't approve of the design and the merch team lied to him and posting private emails, then later saying he did approve the design but for a different color shirt and didn't see the problem until it was on a black shirt and it was changed immediately when he brought up his concerns and never went to production, then deleting most of the tweets he's had today sounds like he just wants out. It doesn't mean he doesn't believe what he said nor that it didn't happen the way he said or that his thoughts are invalid. No one with any sense will ever argue that WWE doesn't have a long, long history of racism and still treats minority talents like lessers.

Of course not, they don't really care about the black fanbase and that's why they have trouble selling out arenas and getting high ratings. If Sasha, The Street Profits, Naomi, or any black wrestler were pushed the same way the average white wrestler was pushed they'd have much bigger attendance and ratings.

Vince doesn't realize that representation matters and the majority of the crowds at these shows are a representation of the major champs they have. Black folks aren't coming out to see Becky, Seth, or Bayley, but we will watch Brock because we like to see him tear shyt up(except not at the expense of Kofi). Wrestling has always had a problem connecting with the black fanbase, and that's why we only support it to a point.

this company has a misappropriation style.

They have no issue connecting with the black fanbase. They purposefully want to misappropriate anything black. Then act like they did it with no help from anyone predominately black.
When this company is built singlehandidly off two black men:

mr. T
mike tyson

the levels of misappropriation are so high.
that to this day,.....

mr t and Tyson should be model and marketd as the highest drawing components in all of wrasslin history.

the same way flair and Hogan are championed but more.

as without mr t, or Tyson. Neither would ever be known like that in general.
not to mention perception would never be skewed. To allow them on the big station in the news outlets just for starters.

as mr t, created and terraformed mainstream real news outlets and actual channel programming outlet pr for wwe.

before mr t,...wwe had no coverage period.
it only got coverage because of the national phenomenon and boom from eye of the tiger, rocky and most importantly, mr.t.

just like the second boom only occurred because of the drawing permeation of mike tyson. To give rub to the entire wwe and most importantly, scsa as well.

Are you OK?

I'm fine. Did you watch his matches in NXT? He's good in the ring, like Apollo but he had no character and he smiled a lot. That's facts. I feel like no one on here watched his matches in that tournament.
