not trying to sound contrary, but i watched the first 3 and... they kinda fukkin sucked. each episode had mabe 2 clever jokes on the surface. some of the jokes were really lame, and some were recycled from other things. disappointed as fukk so far.

Just started watching season 4. I literally spit out my drink when Tobias said "ninja please" 
I think I'm one of the few that liked the first episode but I didn't care for 2 or 3 at all. For me episode 4 is where is picks up. I just watched episode 7 and it was the funniest episode so far and was the first that felt like it could stand toe to toe with it's original run.
Finally got done with episode 7 last night and hands down the funniest episode so far.

Like most have said, it's not as consistently great...but that is more a product of the scheduling issues/necessity than anything else.
But, when the new episodes hit, the REALLY fukking hit.
To people complaining about rehashed running gags....
. I think it feels like that because it's been so long, but in reality its the same thing the show has always done. And the mass-release of the episodes prevents the ingraining of any new running gags. Seeing/catching a reference to an episode you watched 3 months ago is a very different experience than doing the same with a reference from an episode you watched 3 hours ago.
