And yeah, traditional British food isn't even worth mentioning. Like I said in another thread, there's a trillion ethnic food places literally all over this city to make up for it.

I won't hear a bad thing about Fish and Chips though.

2. The Tube was extremely clean, and the system is designed very well down to the ease of use and signage plus you can apple pay at every station. only complaint NO AC
their buses are the most efficient ive ever used. them shyts pulling up every 5 mins.

This. Most of the trains had AC but a lot of the stations didn’t for some reason, especially some of the deep level stations like Oxford Street....OS Station always felt like a hot ass sauna

The whole London has bad food thing is a myth. I live in London and have living in the US and Hong Kong in the past and the food isn't any worse. While British traditional food is not great, there are so many amazing places to eat if you know how to find them. London is a city that slowly unfolds on you; you need to know the right spots to hit. Borough market, Brixton, Peckham, hackney, Soho, North London have amazing places to eat with cuisines and fusion food from around the world. Places like Pizza pilgrims, Franco manca, Pizza East, Santa Maria are on par with, if not better most Pizza places globally. Also a lot of famous restaurants like Hakkasan, Zuma originate from London. All you have to do is look at the amount of Michellin star restaurants or famous chefs that have originated from London. You could literally eat food from every country in the world in London. I don't know where you guys get your information from

i was there in July was mostly on the Piccadilly and northern lines and didn't have AC once on the train

Yea I went to London a few years back for our anniversary, I agree about the accents it's over exaggerated.

British Food can be ok, but you need to pick and choose your spots. Also be prepared to pay. Better food can cost you 25-30 dollars a plate American minimum

Indian Food there is fire, better than the US by some margin.

Also Arab food there is solid if you like that, Morrocan seems to be trendy over there. African food over there is better than here too, I think I ate lunch at a Nigerian joint

Italian Food there is also hit or miss, agreed the pizza is technically done ok but bland and soulless, the brits do like Pasta

British white people are cordial to Black people even friendly but keep in mind once slavery ended over their Blacks were granted pretty much most of their rights right away and they ended slavery around 40 years prior to the US. They feel a way about Muslims, though especially non white Muslims at least in my experience.
