The Truth
Did boxing end out with a dud this year? I think so. Lomastinko vs Rigoyawndo.
No...

That Farmer shyt was bullshyt though but there were some big fights this year. Not even including the sideshow Conor fight. Ward, Wilder, Loma, Canelo/GGG, Crawford, etc.

I think if the right people fight next year it will be better. Errol Spence/Thurman, Farmer/Tank, Possible GGG/Canelo rematch, possible sideshow with Conor and Pac, Wilder/Ortiz/Joshua, and thats just off the top of my head.

Lomachenko says he wants Mikey Garcia next... That will be huge.

If I was a betting man I would have lost the whole house tonight because I though Rigondeaux was going to win tonight. Lomachenko is simply the truth at that division and I would love to see him spark Crawford at 140 and get the belts. A few good wins at 140 and 147 and he might be able to convince Mayweather to come out of retirement for a big money fight.

Re watched it.

Rigo got screwed from the ref.

This is not a loss for rigo.

Someone on here said Rigo had a mental breakdown and started crying when the ref deducted the point :dead:
He was holding on for dear life every time Loma got close. he knew that ass whupping was about to get serious if he couldn't hold constantly. he quit to avoid getting knocked out.
Honestly this is a real bad look for Rigo and Walters because neither one was really that hurt when they quit. It's worst to get your soul took to the point you just say fukk my reputation or pride and mentally succumb

Rigo already knows this though. He's a defensive savant.
he was making lomachenko miss alright, but not pulling the trigger on the counter. lomachenko doesnt commit a lot into his punches, so he is not easy to run into something, but there were a lot of punches there that rigondeaux could have pulled the trigger on but didnt. lots of missed chances. it didnt help that he spent so much of the fight bent over. you cant punch back from that position. he started out with a good steady jab in round 1 and really, really got away from the jab. its so difficult to get your timing without a jab. the jab gets you into a nice offensive groove. you get away from your jab and it feels like you are doing everything from a sudden stop. its because you are. so your workrate starts to dip and you start to get real cold. you feel real out of rhythm. none of your punches feel like they are coming out on time. all symptoms of getting away from your jab. who was the guy who got his jab going? lomachenko. and it showed.

I don't know why people are so happy over this. Clowns more concerned with trolling and stannery than the actual boxing itself, it doesn't matter who you wanted to win, we should have gotten to experience one of the best fights of this generation and instead, we get a sad fight with a massively anticlimactic ending.

Congrats to Loma who won fair and square but damn that was just sad, the fight could have, and should have easily played out so differently, only Rigo knows why he did or didn't do certain things. You can disrespect him all you want but we're not going to see two boxers on the talent and pedigree level of Rigo AND Loma fighting for a while, just a shame it was so terrible.

:rip: Rigondeaux's career

The last 2 fighters you said was gonna beat my fighter....quit:dead:

Relax buddy. First of all you have no fighters and neither do I. I'm just as much of a Ward and Loma fan as you are. Also I am a KRUSHER fan and a Rigo fan. Secondly, I been stated what we all knew- Loma was favored to win and rightly so given the advantages. I was just rooting for a Rigo victory against all the odds cuz that woulda been crazy. Never imagined he'd retire on his stool. KRUSHER never quit either. Blind ass ref stopped it after KRUSHER hunched over from the 3 punch gonad onslaught. Lastly, Ward got a gift decision in the first KRUSHER fight, toughest of his career, and then eeked out a phony victory with 4 low blows landed in the final round, 3 of which were in the final sequence as shown now by various video footage. Then Ward promptly retires once he started noticing his own stark decline. So it is what it is.
