Going back and forth with my dad, we both thought Loma was going to win but imagine being in over 900 fights and you finally get to one where you aren't the most talented person in the ring. People will handle it many ways, but this was a mindfukk for him and he wasn't mentally strong enough for it.
Exactly. I think if you at least spar with some decent boxers you will see what it's like to not to be able to do the things you want or thought you could do. And it will fukk with you a bit.

The Truth
Rigo was holding, starting with the chump stuff from the opening bell - completely agree

Loma didn't even outclass him because Rigo didn't fukking try. That's why I'm so disgusted with him. What the hell was he doing leaning over and eating lefts out there and mad about it?

Then he wants to say he was hurt?

Naw. Rigo gotta be better than this as a professional. He did a disservice to everyone involved.
Loma is still extra nice but he does work for Bob Arums shady ass so it could've been a fix to push Lomachenko into the spotlight.

@Newzz, we called it. We sat through how hearing Rigo was a different class of boxer, yet he was the one constantly getting dropped by bums.

Concrete decision in this one. Loma is clearly more skilled. As we thought may happen, size had zero to do with the outcome - but still may be a talking point to make excuses post victory. And Rigo's career issues seem to be entirely of his own doing, yet everyone gets blamed for black balling him. We just watched Rigo show little offense, hold a lot, and quit when it got tough. Loma deserves his respect for outclassing Rigo...but when it comes to Rigo amd his career, this fight was no different.

First thing I thought when Rigo quit, was why do I need to see him again? Rigo is wasted talent, there is no reason we need to watch him. And then my thoughts went to Mayweather. How many times have we seen Floyd fight with a broken hand (even suffered a KD due to the pain) and fight through it with the grit of a champion and still out class opponents with one hand?

Nomaschenko may be the GOAT line. :russ:

And he lost his 122 belt for losing this fight...2 Ls in 1 night:wow:

So rigo has been overrated? I mean I don't get what your point is, because Rigo has beaten the men who have been put in front of him.

There is a weight class cap and Loma mentioned it m Floyd is great but at some point he's not gonna be able to go up 2 weight classes and face GGG. And for you to not to recognize that simple fact just does you a disservice ...despite your know it all attitude about boxing
