My thinking is that they will cut ties w/Tebow after the season is over with and just want to see if McElroy will show enough to create a QB competition this offseason. At least...that's what it seems like

But as a good coach all you need to worry about is winning the fukking game.

Last night the Jets had plenty of chances to win that fukking game.

But instead Rex is concerned with all this other bullshyt and this is just one of the MANY reasons he is failing at his job

it gave them short term financial cap flexbility last year and they wanted to help sanchez hurt ego after they flirted, well not even, called peyton manning's ppl to see if he's interested

I can't speak for that. But we BOTH know that Sanchez money kept him on the field.

If you think it's a coincidence that they go to a new qb after they're out of playoff contention, you're a fool.

I think it kept him starting, not kept him on the field.

Because i`ve seen QB's who make good money who have awful days and they get pulled.

I don't think it's a coincidence at all about them going with a new QB now, it makes perfect sense. But it just highlights the ineptitude of the coaching.

Like "Hey now that we have totally fukked it up with our Sanchez loyalty, here is this McElroy guy, ya know the one who won us that close game 3 weeks ago"

you can combine all 3 qbs into 1 dude and he'd still be a bottom third qb.

i got into heated arguments with my friends during the 2 playoff runs.. me defending sanchez saying he was gonna develop into a decent qb. he got all the tools.. he's clutch.. just needs to continue developing.. blah blah.

i haven't been talking since. they don't even bring that shyt up anymore because the argument has become so lopsided.

and the shyttiest part of it all is.. this motherfukker will be behind center, taking starting snaps again next year.

Harbaugh had a 6-2 team with a QB playing well, Rex had a 6-7 team with a horrible QB playing terrible and he didn't have a Kaepernick like talent on the bench.

it is comparable, u dont know how good mcelroy can be. we all already know how bad sanchez is and they still had a chance of making the playoffs until last night

rex only makes the hard decision when its over, harbaugh was proactive.

i know it was hard for harbaugh to make the change, him and alex have been buddy buddy the past 1.5 year

but he did what was best for his team and thats what a coach does

rex was scard to make the change and now he might lose his job

mcelroy could suck but i dont think he'll have 51 turnovers in the next 30 games. sanchez has been bad for a long time
