This is true. When he head weapons, he did well.

But this year he's had a shytty O-Line, a shytty running game, and shytty receivers. Not to mention the D letting us down at the most inopportunistic times.

Not saying Sanchez isn't the problem, but he's not the only problem.

Unfortunately, he isn't doing himself any favors. Plus you got people believing the motto that a QB should get all the credit in victory and all the blame in defeat.

Which is why I was trying to tell Jets fans earlier in the year that if you're going to throw all that money at Sanchez you better put significant pieces around him to prop him up because he's not good. mediocre QBs need as much help as possible. Jets didn't give it to him. If you're going to hitch your wagon to the guy, at least make a legit effort to put dudes around him that will make him at least look better.

How would it look if Rex starts a dude who can't throw a football or a 3rd stringer ahead of a guy they just threw a crapload of money at in the summer? His hand was forced.

This. Sanchez has regressed the last 2 years as his weapons have decreased. He's not a good QB, why would you remove his weapons, then hire a shyt OC?
