jay?? :wtf:

he was mad at Hot 97 for wanting to censor his show. he didn't go to Power 105 because he was mad at Jay-z, lol, he wanted to air out hot 97.

They censored it because he wanted to hang a jay figure on stage

He still felt like he needed to do that after "winning" the battle? means he was still upset

i dont respect none of that chit homeboy. nas handled that situation like a str8 bi*ch. i never looked at him the same afterwards.

nas ran from a beef THAT HE STARTED FOR NO REASON, and then would throw little pop shots here-n-there when dipset wasnt even thinking about him anymore. then when they get wind of it and retaliate again, he hides his hands while dipset is made out to be the wrongdoers. i dont respect niccas like that at all on some real chit.

2008? hot dam. nas is like a bi*ch scorned.

The reason was because Cam and Dipset were on Roc-A-Fella and they were in effect the enemy. And to say Dipset wasn't thinking about Nas when Jim Jones has kept Nas name in his mouth for YEARS going forward is a bit facetious:comeon: . And again, Nas never really hid his hand. He dissed them multiple times in interviews and on stage, most famously at his free NY show in 2004 when he dissed them and 50 Cent. He also had the bravehearts diss them (Soul Clap anyone?:laff:) multiple times. However I DO agree that that Cam shyt shoulda took shyt off wax and into the streets. Cam deserved a reworked jaw for that shyt. At the LEAST Nas should've Ethered them nikkas to kingdom Come....

All of that whole beef was entertaining, that's what I care about all these years later, I don't even think 'Come Home With Me' was wack, at all, I love that album, and I thought Cam and Dips disses were hilarious, it was so epic back in 2002, when shyt like this went on. Now it's just another thread, just another day, but in 2002 it was exciting and new, maybe it's age too, I was 16 then.

Cam has since humiliated and embarrassed himself, and become a joke, though I still have love for his old music, Jim Jones, lol and Santana, but I can't front, that summer those disses were hilarious. There was that skit of Cam talking about his boy 'E' from Queens, all those mixtapes were great.

The either burned slow. Don't kill soloists only kill squads. Why doesn't Nas get credit for that. Immediately after beefing the biggest movement in rap folded based on hovs insecurity. Dipset flabby and sick right now lol. Jim Ones <-----yall remember that? Cam hopped in the beef for the buzz.

Is there a good quality cdq of 'Don't Body Ya Self'? But, I listened to that today, it's pretty harsh, he could have got at 50 if he really wanted to, he seemed to just kind of let it pass, throwing little remarks here and there, but relisten to that, he was like a dog growling to get let off the leash.

50 got on some Tony Montana shyt in 2005, full blown egomania, and that was the beginning of his end, he just thought he would have it that good for that long, of all people, why go after Nas? Who put him on, basically? Not to mention the half dozen other rappers.

:comeon: Please lets not play this game because when the Dips was hot everyone was asking where's Nas. Nas struggled to remain relevant too. Name me one Distant Relatives song that got radio play. And lets not act like Hero was some kind of :wow: track. shyt was cream corn.

But its funny that you ask where is Dipset now with them getting spins on their track as we speak with 60 racks.

Oh and :dead: at Nas even saying shyt to the Dips. Them nikkas was more than about that life. The only reason max B EVEN got on was because he did dirt and Jim respected that. When Jim beefed with Max it was always on some fight shyt because they had shooters on both sides.

:comeon:

When Dips were relevant, Nas was going platinum and #1 in the country :stopitslime:

its weird, Nas comes off as a serious kinda quiet dude, but he definitely gave us 2 of the funniest hip hop interviews ever. this one and the one on Flex when promoting Stillmatic.
