Curious to see if it will have the same serious/gory tone as the book


Been waiting for this to come out for awhile now. It had been in development over at Hulu and then got dropped and then optioned by Netflix. Hope they do justice to the source material because the story is incredibly good

Episode one is solid breh. They seem to have done a good job properly casting the characters although they haven’t introduced Lucas yet.

So far its clear to say they’ve taken a ton of creative liberties with the plot and characters in order to make it more Netflix friendly and with that adding too much teenage melodrama but I’m enjoying it through the first three episodes

i wish they had spent a little more money on effects trying to capture the head key references but I can’t be that mad..
