Not saying it's the norm, but it's faaaaaaaaaaaaar from atypical. 30s guy with his shyt together, still looks relatively young can... It's nothing.
Especially in the hood/HBCUs/non-prestigious PWIs. Many of those young chicks ain't used to much. Going to Ruby Tuesday is like going to a 5 star steakhouse.
That experience coupled with the aura of being around a older man (which triggers the daddy complex for many of 'em) = It's Over for 'em.
You don't have to believe us, tho.

I'm not sure if you know, but I've said the bolded multiple times in this thread. This whole post is basically agreeing with what I said so idk why you posted the "you don't have to believe us" line because you pretty much agreed with everything I've said.
The part of your post referring to where those type of relationships are more common but still not the norm (hood/HBCUs/non-prestigious PWIs) does highlight why it's even less of a norm in my circles. I attended a prestigious PWI for undergrad and will complete my doctoral degree at an Ivy (I guess these are places where the young black and fabulous mingle and date amongst themselves).
