Funny thing is (and I have said this before), I believe that I look better now than I did five years ago...hell 10 years ago. After of college eatin' I was dangerously close to becoming 
I will say that we need to get it out of our heads that we can eat everything in sight and not take care of our bodies and still expect to "compete" with girls (if that is what they want to do). I workout and eat right because I want to feel and look good FOR ME. That said, I have a career, my health, two degrees, a relationship, and a passport full of stamps. I don't need to compete. If you don't want to believe that because it goes against your narrative then
