Why? Because they are treating one of WCW’s biggest stars correctly 19 years after WCW went out of business?

They treated Ric Flair well, Booker T all things considered...I know people will bring up the HHH thing but he overall had a very good WWE run, held world championships in WWE and 2 time HOFer..h..major feuds and angles with Rock and Austin, Eddie, Krispenwah, Jericho, Goldberg, Big Show.... All world title runs

In the grand scheme of things, sure. But do you remember a lot of those careers in real time? Nearly every former WCW guy was broken down and built back up in some way. Almost all of these guys had to get the “WCW stench” off of them before the WWE decided to push them in the way they wanted. Goldberg is somewhat of an outlier, cause though they’re re-writing some history for him, back in 03/04, they nuked what should have been Goldberg’s 1st World title win by having a fat, bloated, injured HHH win that Elimination Chamber. Goldberg was demolishing all those guys, and the fans were rabid for him, only for HHH to wake up from the nap he took throughout the entire match to hit him with a sledgehammer and win. By the time won the title months later, the steam was gone, only exacerbated by HHH winning the title not too long after that in a triple threat with Kane.

If they were smart, the aftermath storyline would be that Fiend lost because all the opponents he’s faced were past opponents to Bray Wyatt so he knew their weaknesses and that Bray had never faced Goldberg.. which leads to the Cena match since Cena is the one that first beat him at WM

....... but nope, Goldberg gets the W then moves on and doesn’t even speak on it... fiend takes the L then immediately targets Cena

Cena vs Goldberg could’ve been the attraction match just like last year should’ve been Cena vs Angle
