the beats are fire on here lol and it’s mixed nicely

One of the best albums released this year

This is high quality dope and my favorite recent banks projects next to coti 3. I might like it better tho the whole albums got that dark vibe mixed perfectly and the rhymes, flows and the way banks sounds along with the album artwork this is crazy.

My favorite halloween havoc since part 2

This and wsg dropping made music dope right now for me. I gotta run that Gibbs album back today, it sounded dope on first listen.

I skimmed through it a quick 20-50 seconds of each track. I hope it’s dope but the production may sound the same as all this other shyt he’s dropped in the last 3-4 years. Hopefully it’s dope anfter giving it an thoro listen. All no name producers I’m guessing and I honestly don’t get y we don’t get some name brand producers producing his shyt. Every album he’s dropped in the last 3-4 years the beats all sound the same and sounds like mixtape shyt. Not saying every project but I’m kindve getting tired of getting these same beats without variety. Atleast if u got alchemist or havoc and others like beat butcha u get some different quality dope musically but it’s getting less and less interesting. And banks is one of my favorite rappers but this is true shyt. Banks always kills it he’s top tier but the production isn’t. Course of the inevitable 3 is my favorite of the stuff he’s dropped in recent years after that it’s gotta be part 1 even tho it’s not very cohesive and mixed not so great. Point is part 1 still probably had the most bangers but as a project is probably my second favorite of the shyt released in the past recent years.

I like cartune beatz etc but we need a change soon hopefully all or nothing 3 provides that. And this is a mixtape so the beats thing does make sense. Hopefully aon 3 is actually album quality production not mixtape quality.
He need to be doing whole tapes with one producer like V Don. Not buying a bunch of mid beats. The album's sound like mixtapes because there's no cohesion

All the Halloween havocs are mixtape tho. But yea I get what u mean. all in all I agree about making albums with one producer.

Aon3 probably gona be the album but I don’t want it sounding anything like the cotis. It’s cuz he uses the same producers and similar sounding beats. Cotis don’t compare to the 2010s banks projects.

The best banks projects in the last 15 years were fno which is a 5 mic classic and cc2, & Aon. Well c what happens I like the mixtape shyt too but I also want the album shyt as well with different producers both types of projects are great to have and should be seperate not the same sounding. & alot of the recent beats are great and album quality but for an album only the select beats would be chosen not all of them. What I’m saying is a lot of the beats on these recent banks projects are perfect for him and deserve to be on an album but alot of them should only be on the mixtapes (he kills all the mixtape shyt too and the mixtape shyt should have album quality beats as well like he’s been providing us with). I’m happy with all the banks projects we’ve got the way they are but I’m just talking about for the future projects. & for those of u saying I don’t like the raw gritty beats banks chooses it’s not even that, it’s more so that we’ve been getting this type of production for awhile. I love that boom bap shyt but I’d like to hear different producers and different takes on that boom bap sound. I wana hear those grimy dusty boom bap beats but I wana hear guys like alchemist make the beats. That’s y everytime someone says they want different producers you’ll see posters write that “you don’t like that boom bap grimy shyt or banks sound”, and that’s far from the truth since that’s banks style and I wouldn’t have it any other way. But we need a proper album from him with cohesive production, and different producers coming in to produce that banks sound. And I think that you’re completely right about having some of the future banks projects be produced by “one” top tier or great producer.

Halloween havoc 5 is fire and it’s a quality mixtape and that’s exactly what we got and I’m happy with it. 🔥

Edit: one last thing I started looking at credits of recent banks projects and I didn’t realize how dope cartune beatz is not only did he produce most of the best grimy joints but he produced a lot of the other fire shyt too like the more soulful shyt. I gotta credit him as being a big part of why alot of the new banks albums production is fire and the cotis are dope. 🔥 that’s why it’s dope he’s apart of the production team now and he should definately have production on new releases. Some of the other producers on the newer projects have heaterz too. He’s probably only going to get better. During the 10z banks had a real dope production team too. In the gunit days the gunit/aftermath production team was dope, And they would get some of the dopest beats from lesser known producers at that time mixed in high quality.

This is spot on. I hate when people get mad because we say something about wanting different beats. Yeah the grimey sound is his current MO but like you said FNO is not a grimey tape and it’s his best project imo.

I don’t even want no dark beats but just know Banks makes great music with shyt that’s not 100% grimey.

This mixtape is top level, his best project since the first COTI at least imo but a beat like complications is a weakness. Banks lifts it with his bars which is fine for a mixtape but for the album he shouldn’t have to do that.

💯

I still want dark beats, just by other producers. He can easily get someone like alc and havoc to make them even vdon. Banks also kills a variety of different types of beats, I like hearing him on other types of dope beats too.

But yea fno is banks best project and it didn’t even have no dark shyt on it. That album was so fresh wen it came out perfect album and it was marketed as a mixtape. It’s a mixtape but better than a majority of rappers albums from that time. The year it came out it was album of the year hands down.
