Big ass bbq that turned into a house party/block party. Growing up in NYC when house parties were the shyt :banderas:

dap and i tried to +rep you back, but i can't because already did recently :salute:

Classic joint.

think about man, ll from 85' to 96' was doin' his thing. walking with a panther wasn't the strongest and it was a low point for him because many though he sold out and was wack even though he was comin' with it lyrically aside from them 4 wack ass lovey dovey songs on that album

but he had radio, bigger and deffer, walking with a panther aside from those like 4 songs, then he presented hip hop with it's 1st comeback with mama said knock you out and then 14 shots to the dome which i didn't really care even though he had a few songs on there that was ok and then he bounced back again with mr. smith

and to think, that was already a 10 year mark and at the time of lougin' remix, he had a hit tv show with "in the house"

then ll continued to put out hits even though the albums weren't anythin' memorable or better than what had come before

nikkas who aren't young enough to remember ll is his prime front on ll nowadays, but he's a legend in this shyt and an icon

easily 10 of all time

yeah, in my opinion, you can't get through a top 10 list without namin' him. bruh was that nikka for a minute. he put his time in the game and had such a tremendous influence on hip hop with classic songs and albums. he got one of the best live shows too

1996.

What a time to be alive. :blessed: Young nikka working part time at Foot Locker and going to school, had a clean ass 88 honda prelude with the Alpines, had a bad broad and a couple of side pieces.. Survived two pregnancy crises :blessed::blessed:.. East coast hip hop had a nikka's swag untouchable back then. Good days.
