:stopitslime:

u said Nah to him being crowned the KONY & there were plenty calling him great
and for the record the source mag was full of Black writers & editors back then
again u just proving your lack of hip hop knowledge

but forget all of that - are u gonna answer my question? - why even mention his name in here ... when this has nothing to do with him
Most hating on Pac was Biggie fans so I threw him under the bus :coffee:

That is a good response, but Death Row changed him for the worse. His image at Death Row harmed a lot of young black men, into feeling pressured to be a fake thug and acting ignorant just for acceptance. No one is slandering his true character, the Black Panther one. Its the other one that the record companies did that harmed an entire generation. The impact of the negativity of his thug image, is still being felt today. It wasn't his fault, it's just that the damage has been done. Now we got fake thugs everywhere. c00ns. Sellouts. And the majority of the modern problems, started in that era.
I wouldnt say that is 100% pac's fault but you're right... I mean he was beefing with a group called "Mobb" another one called "mafia" and drug dealers who kill and extort people all the time ... people in this thread directly praise them for the same thing :yeshrug: basically although I agree 100% with you, we can say Rap music as a whole is detrimental and negative impact wise on an entire generation

It doesn’t count if the rag was blue?
People wore bandanas. Nas wasn’t trying to claim crip.

my point is Pac got wrapped up in gang politics hanging out in mob pirus hood and stomping out a rival gang member in Vegas. The red rag, the mob tattoo, Pac was claiming the set

there was a time in most of the world where bandanas were a fashion accessory. Los Angeles ain’t one of those places. You know what statement was being made with that red rag

He stomped out a nikka that allegedly took a Death Row chain because Puffy paid him to do so. Pac stomped out the Hughes Brothers before he ever got to Death Row. Folk talk like he just attacked Orlando because he was from Southside.

I think the puff story is unsubstantiated. death row chains getting snatched in the malls could have easily been some SSC vs MP shyt.

the fact that Pac even felt comfortable running down on a nikka like baby lane is interesting. Mob James said that Pac was claiming the set and that some mbrs of the set embraced that which caused a rift

Bruh, I dont care about who went platinum first. That means what? I will say it again, biggie is remembered because of Pac. Sure, he was a helluva mc. Not taking that away. Pac was his teacher. Taught him a lot.

People on Death Row at the time believed the bounty was real and even Mob James hating ass said it. Pac was fearless....it didn't matter if it was Baby Lane or Jimmy Henchman, Pac was with the full shyts.

There's stories of Pac in Milwaukee fighting Chicago GD's over Yummy Sandifer who he never even met..........and this was before he got to Death Row....receipts below.

all I ever heard about pac was how he was talented, artistic, couldn’t fight, came from a lineage of socially conscious types...Pac was a legend but he wasn’t wild without backing...Pac got turned out more and more by his surroundings....Pac is the goat but he became more and more wild like you said he wasn’t always a wild one.

nikka Pac WAS a wild nikka. There's plenty of stories from his DU days that verify. U dumb fukk. How about u do some fukkin research? Everyone around Pac at the time said he was wild as fukk. Getting into mad fights. Tryna run up on nikkas tryna clap them. All kinda shyt.

To an extent everybody does shyt to be liked especially as an entertainer there are a lot of appearaences to keep up.
More than anything though i think life events simply changed him you don't go from this at 17 to a street dude without serious life changing events.
Dude couldn't even fathom calling a girl the 'B' word so it's clear something caused him to change :yeshrug:

Why do people always post this one as so called proof of his fake image?

This was literally around the same time, a song called Panther Power

People witnessed those events you talk about, so it’s crazy some think he was faking an image

He got beat by cops
Shooting off duty cops
Accused of rape
Was almost killed during the first shooting
Went to jail

all of that happened when he was already famous

Who wouldn’t change his mannerism or vocabulary?

Only reason pp ltalk about biggie is cause HE is attached to Pac. Dont nobody care about biggie ass like that

Nah bro. Big’s career started to take off when he dropped Ready To Die. By early 95 he blew up & it wasn’t till Pac claimed he had something to do with the Quad mess falsely is where they got attached to each other

It means who was the most successful at the particular time
he’s remembered because he’s the greatest to ever touch the mic
teacher of who? one was a real street nikka that spat street shyt the other wasn’t
.... so, i’ll ask u again; teach who ? a non street nikka , can’t possibly teach, a real street nikka - nothing
