Nikkaz talk alot of shyt but that's after I'm gone....
You can't go by soundbytes we would have to listen to the whole content.
Like or not not,
Pac and ll cool j had friction over Quincy Jones daughter. Also to be fair, LL Cool gave a lane for rappers to be ladies man raps for the ladies. Like Pac said. You make money making songs for the chicks and many artists and Pac modeled that after LL Cool J. LL and cool j made their contributions to hip hop and whatever small differences they had let's appreciate their greatness.

Also once again it's better to hear it in its entire content.

Didn't pac pretty much say this over 2 decades ago?

1. Said he wanted to be a Poet..

2. Pac always said the role of Bishop changed him...

Add those 2 together and LL is saying the same thing w/ a lil bit shade/hate in his heart.

Non Pac fans always try to clown Pac for not being a "real" thug, or street dude, but non (or not many) of these guys did what Pac did.

The same guys that clown Pac (the same Pac) that confronted 2 white guys for fukking w/ a black man, are prolly the same ones calling out local street guys for not touching cats in Zimmerman after shyt like that goes down.

Pac did what most of want them to do.

Drake grew up in Harlem, Baltimore, Oakland during the crack era? Mother a black panther? His uncles, step father, god father all street legends? Drake shot at two officers? Drake made a song like Trapped, and Brenda’s got a baby at age 19?

you Cac’s are funny
The de-mystifying of Tupac is just as over the top and ridiculous as the mythological creation of Tupac. 10yrs from now:

Pac was an industry plant who's mom wasn't really a panther. Afeni was an FBI agent who infiltrated the panthers. Tupac took the stand against all of NY. Pac was basically 6ix9ine.

you think he would've been approaching his problems the same without mob piru¿

cats like ll may sound like they just being irreverent

but you gotta understand he was pac without the mob longer than he was with it in their eyes

folks who watched the transformation don't just view him as the icon he became

nikkas had no fear of pac it was mob piru that made cats have to consider how they handled him

2pac always had a bad boy image as an artist so I don't get where he's going with this. On his debut album he has a track called "I Don't Give A fukk" and always had that rebel to society vibe in his music. If anything it was the other way around and his gangsta image helped him get more women.
This is the most accurate answer. They act like Pac was doing Ladi Dadi rhymes on his 1st debut album and then made a super leap to gangster rap in 1996. Dude had a group called Thug Life a year or two before he signed to Death Row..

:skip:

Ladies didn't start really liking him until Me Against The World era. When he started putting on a little muscle and started to embrace fashion. So around 1994-1995. When he was entertaining Madonna. And then when he went full Piru, he probably gained just as many female fans as male fans.

This.

People always talk about Pac being soft and all that bullshyt but he was about ACTION. He did what he said he was going to do. If he had beef with nikkaz, and he saw them in person, he confronted them. How can you call the dude soft? nikkaz tryed to rob him and he told them fukk you and pulled on them, he shot at them off duty cops, he checked mobb deep, he confronted Nas, He rode on the Orlando cat, he went at it with an entire neighborhood in Oakland, after he got shot the last time the cop asked him who shot him and he told him fukk you, he went in on the dude selling his CDs....Some of this was before people said he began to "act like a thug"....How can you call all that shyt soft?

nowadays nikkaz beefing with each other be at the same shows and act like they never knew each other

nikkas don't understand.

Pac was the embodiment of the state of the average young black male from his era, which is the crack boom, post civil rights movements being destroyed, deflated and seeing hero's get assassinated. You take just the standard PTSD from being a black man in America, then actually growing up and out of a real live movement actively being destroyed by the government and then the aftermath of all that when drugs and poverty are even worse with no real community to fall back on, fathers and father figures dead, locked up or fukked off..

What you get left with is someone, who picks up a lot of traits from their mother in regards to how they cope with those traumas combined with no father, yet plenty of testosterone to make that person very volatile. He wasn't a gangsta (he said that himself) but this idea that he wasn't a live wire til he got with death row is false. And when you look at what he was trying to do with Thug Lyfe and other shyt he was getting into off on the side you realize it wasn't just a case of putting on an image for dudes to like him...he wanted to have the ears, hearts and minds of STREET nikkaS specifically, he wanted to be heard and accepted by them because he felt like he could bridge that gap between what the Panthers WERE and what the streets had become. He knew that being from the movement, the community was his forte, not the streets. But also knew that the reason why groups like the panthers fell is because the nikkas that would have otherwise been soldiers and protectors in the community scattered and went to war with themselves instead of combating real shyt.
