If what you said happened really did happen, that would mean yeah they bypassed Trump on Jan 6 but he was still in charge until inauguration day.

But it was clear that Trump was no longer acting president after Jan 6. That's what I felt at the time. I think he was secretly removed from office on paper but allowed to keep up appearances. He had no power after Jan 6.

Very interesting point. I don’t see how he was allowed to have any remaining power after Jan 6th. There must have been some back door deal where he gives up all power and gets to keep up the facade. Even Hannity was pushing for 25th amendment and he’s one of trumps biggest groupies.
