There's no way they keep a 5 star, 2nd ranked QB on the bench...Fromm & Fields won't split snaps 50/50 but Fields will see the field in different packages. He's too talented not to put him on the field 5-10 snaps a game minimum even if he's just a decoy
There isn't a scholly QB after them. They cant have him running around and getting injured.

You got QB Sam Vaughn & QB John Seter as your 3rd string and practice squad QBs...there's no way you're playing it safe with Fields talent. Even more than that, if you didn't play Fields that much or strictly kept him on the sidelines, why wouldn't he just transfer? You got these guys 3 maybe 4 years, you gotta play them if they're ready
Who and who? They can't put both scholly QB's in the line of fire often fam, think about it. I'm not saying they sit him totally but he's not going to play nearly as much as people think. The risk is too high.
I'd like to attend that LSU game just as a pure fan of football.That's going to be fun.

Breh they're not gonna play it safe like that. And when Fields is in he's not just gonna run...the kid is dangerous and makes the defense adjust to him. Kirby ain't gonna hold him off the field just to prevent injury

I think the goal is to win a title. They're not gonna play it safe with Fields or any other player if they can contribute.
You don’t yolo in this situation. They have to manage the risk relative to the point in the season..........

I'm not saying theyre going to be reckless with how they use him, but Kirby isn't gonna sit Fields for fear of injury. He's trying to win a natty
Sit no but again, can’t have him out there in danger early on for no real reason. Those being the only two scholarship QBs is big issue.
Look at what happened with Jacob last year......we at least had Ramsey.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think it would be a mistake not to use Fields when he's available because of fear of injury. I think they'll manage it carefully but let's remember that this is football and injuries happen. IMO you can't make decisions about the program or the game because of the possibility of them happening. I think you'll see Fields taking a minimum of 10% of the snaps, whether it's the wild dog, shotgun, line up in the backfield with Fromm, be a decoy, etc. I'd be stunned if Kirby kept him on the sideline a lot, assuming he's healthy and knows the plays. But we'll see I hope Kirby plays it smart, but aggressive...we're going to need Fields at some point this year and he needs to get meaningful snaps in real games (SEC games).
