I like Shaduer and would take him 1st round I think he has a Geno Smith type career, I know Geno wasn’t a 1st rounder but I would take his type of production in the 1st round. QB are boom or bust there aren’t that many great QBs out there

Let me guess, Will Campbell is heading to Canton?:pachaha:.

I’m not going to act like I’ve seen a ton of him, but from what I’ve read and seen, he’d probably be the third, fourth, or fifth tackle taken off the board in some recent drafts.

I’d rather trade back or take an ELITE talent like Jeanty than a good tackle prospect.

I may be completely wrong, but I just hope the Patriots don’t draft Will Campbell at #4 overall. That would be the big big disappointment for me.
90% of mocks have him landing with NE, I would mentally prepare for it at this point

It’s about depth. No one said “early rounds” but you. There are players that otherwise would be in this draft that went back because of NIL. There was an article on it that I read the other day. The draft isn’t as deep as it would be otherwise. You’ll see it more in the latter rounds than the first round. So you don’t get all the Mel Kipers talking about “value” you can get in the later rounds anymore.
the number one thing people like about this draft is the depth .... if anything it lacks top end talent, which is the reason for lack of buzz (esp as it relates to elite QB prospects, which has also killed the draft/trade market). the first round is where the buzz comes

I mean he’s pretty good tho he could develop into an all pro guy

Yeah, I fundamentally disagree with you and think you’re flat wrong about the depth of this draft. There are several guys this year that will go much earlier than they would’ve last year. But you and ol boy are arguing something I never said but I’ll elaborate - it’s not one thing and you’re mistakenly focusing on that instead of looking at the totality of the circumstances. Last year had like 6 QBs in the first round so of course there was more buzz. But we have had many drafts before with more buzz where we didn’t have that. Think of all the reaches on random white QBs.

From top to bottom, this draft lacks the sort of depth/name recognition of previous drafts. Previous drafts would be watched by fanbases to see where a guy who had no chance of being good like Beck would fall. And on top of all that you had a lot of buzz around big time skill players in round one. Most people cannot even pronounce the name of second WR to go off the board after Hunter. Bottom line - the top players aren’t as sexy overall and either is the depth.

He’s a tackle the short arm shyt is just stupid drat talk. I remember idiots making a big deal about Joe Burrow hand size

The short arm is a legit concern for tackles though. They have to deal with edge rushers and need arm length to use as leverage otherwise they're gonna be food out there in space.
