The fact is.. whether he was the tight ends coach, or the special teams coach.. he excelled and had a top unit everywhere he was placed. So I'm not sure the 'sent his son somewhere else to get a job he doesn't deserve' line is true.

I agree.. but when has Harbaugh ever had a dynamic receiver? He's built all his teams.. from San Diego, to Stanford, to the Niners to Michigan the same way. Through the trenches. And the ground game. It's never sexy. It's never popular.. but it works.

He's gonna use Herbert the same way he used JJ.
