These JJ smokescreens are hilarious to me

reminds me of the Will Levis hype last year leading up to the draft

I remember they were saying he was gonna go 2nd overall because CJ Stroud had the same agent as Deshaun Watson so the Texans didn’t want CJ

Im getting similar vibes from the JJ hype

It only takes one team to buy into it but it looks like a bunch of bs being put out there by his agent

no good team believes this bs

every good GM and HC knows how valuable good olinemen are

WR is the most dependent position in football

Then Why do Elite wr’s get paid more than elite tackles? It never used to be like this, LT used to be the second highest paid position after QB

In that video he’s talking about the Line as a whole. That’s completely different from one individual position.

It's not simply about value though. If you're taking any OT just because you need one, that's a mistake. Especially if you're passing up on an objectively better football player who is a receiver or another position. But an elite OT? You take him because he's the best football player. In this case it's prob gonna be Joe Alt. Easy choice.

Chargers can get a really get receiver at 37 in the second round.

If the Commanders really like him trade back with Minnesota and take Daniels

You're entirely too smart to fall for this. Look at Will Levis' skill set and compare it to JJ's. They couldn't be more different. JJ's going top 5, (top 10 guaranteed) and whatever team grabs him is gonna be happy.

Now if you compared Levis to Maye, I can see that. Spitting image of one another if you ask me.

I just don't want JJ goin to NE at 3. I had to deal with Brady beatin the brakes outta my Jets for more than 20 years. I can't go through that again. :mjcry:

Seriously if the Chargers trade down and draft Fuaga/Fautanu I'll be the happiest person on this board on draft night. The happiest.

Double down on another OL with the extra pick and we're ready to dominate sooner than later. Dream draft would be Fuaga and Fautanu as they project to be elite guards and solid starters at both tackle positions. Draft two more really good WR's during the 2nd and 3rd round in this deep draft class. If you need a blue chip WR, well they have the cap next year.

That's depth and backup with 2 picks on both sides of the offensive line. Apparently Fautanu can play center very well. Basically you get 2 players who can play 5 positions: 2 at an elite level, and 3 at potentially elite/high-quality starter levels. If Fuaga is potentially Penei Sewell at RT you can keep him there. They basically bolster nearly the entire offensive line in a single round.

Nabers showed out and it's the ideal situation to take a team to the cleaners with #5.
