I’m of the belief that “project” QBs are largely a waste of a roster spot. You know the guy they draft outside of the first saying “yeah he’s raw but in 2-3 years he will be a starter cause we will coach him up bro”

You are better off drafting an extra DB, WR, OL, RB, Etc
