I feel like something pretty similar happened with Jefferson. Chase had a monster year but ppl ignored that Jefferson had just as good a year honestly and it caused him to drop. We can be seeing deja vu with Thomas
That's the first thing I though about too.
Man if McCarthy goes at 6 to the Giants...it might be as bad as DJ going at 6 to them
JJ's gonna a long successful career. I don't see some transcending QB .. but I can easily see him having a Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers type of career.

@Trust Me also worth saying I'm just speaking from pure talent standpoint and not need or positional value

Many QBs will go higher as they always do

Odunze would be ill. Thomas Jr. too. Coleman.. nahhhhh please no.

I think we're gonna have to get another OLineman tho (not including Bachtiari since we can't rely on him) if we're gonna go with a weapon in the first. And I'm all for it.
We just signed Tyron Smith, so there's your lineman.

The Jets weren't going trust a rookie to protect Rodgers’ blindside. Nor were they going to take an OT in the Top 10 and sit him on the bench for a year.

As soon as the Jets made the trade for Moses the chances of them taking an OL in the 1st round plummeted. Now that they signed Smith, any chance of them taking one completely died

Do you consider either transcending?

I knew what you were meaning. I was just wondering where you sat on Maye.
I consider those lofty expectations for any QB drafted 4th in his class, they both had fantastic careers. Not just run of the mill QB careers. Those are QBs that can reset markets when it’s extension time.

I kind of feel like JJ can be that. I've seen him since IMG.. he's just got 'it'

We don't win that chip without him this year.

Yo, I just watched Brian Thomas Jr's highlight film ..

Can somebody explain to me how dude aint pushin MHJr for WR1? I like his film WAY better than Nabers (and Nabers is sick) I like his film better than Odunze's too.
BT reminds me of Tee Higgins
