Floyd= versatility and potential. A lot of people like to shyt on him cause his low sack total for a "pass rusher" but that's because they don't understand how UGA used him. Last year dude played Mlb, olb, hand in the dirt rush end, and the star (slot responsibility). Dude can do a little of everything.
Plus his size was a big negative coming into the combine. He was soft vs the run at times due to his size. They expected him to come in at 6'4" 230. Came in at 6'6" 244 and still ran a 4.6 forty with a damn near 40 inch vert. Pro day he came in at 249. Basically proving that he can carry more weight and keep his explosion.
If he can get to 255-260 and not lose his explosion you have the potential for a superstar lb. does he have flaws? Yes. Not as strong as you'd like to see vs the run. Not enough rush moves. But there are few players in this draft that will give you the same versatility and potential. Dude was the best defender in UGAs defense and was actively schemed against. His impact was far greater than his sack numbers
