I can hear that. I always thought LB, Median, and L.E.G.A.C.Y. picked really unique 9th beats that were different than some of the rest of the Justus League. And later on The Allies picked a lot of unique ones.

I always thought these that L.E.G.A.C.Y. got from 9th were more experimental left field sounding.

I was never much of a fan of LEGACY, but he would do a good job of picking stand out 9th beats. I listened to Project Mayhem solely off the strength of the beats. And Median might actually have my 2 favorite 9th beats in How Big is Your World and Comfortable. That Luther Vandross flip is

This will be like the 5th time I buy The Listening but it’s worth it since I know this is going directly to them this time

My boy and I were discussing this album the other day and I’m absolutely certain that if “Home” was on a later album or given to an established singer at the time, everyone would give it credit for how great of an R&B song it is.

I’ve put it in every slow jam mix I’ve ever made and it works perfectly
