Now this I can understand. Especially those 2 beats specifically. I just had to go and check after you pointed it out. Wikipedia has Eccentric as the producer for the Get Up. That one definitely stands out.
damn I forgot all about Eccentric, I think he ended up becoming a lawyer and left music behind. There are some other tracks too like So Fabulous that were in different lane than what 9th became known for.

I'm saying the opposite, the LB beats were more diversified than the tracks he made working with other folks. Joints that sounded like Nighttime Maneuvers and The Get Up It were unique to LB.
I can hear that. I always thought LB, Median, and L.E.G.A.C.Y. picked really unique 9th beats that were different than some of the rest of the Justus League. And later on The Allies picked a lot of unique ones.

I always thought these that L.E.G.A.C.Y. got from 9th were more experimental left field sounding.

MEDIAN is really what made he circle back and give LB a chance… that and looking for sounds for fruity Loops. ?uestlove was on OKP comparing LB to Outkast and I wasn’t having it before I even listened. But I heard a MEDIAN joint then listened to “light it up” by LB and I forgot about that shyt ?uest was saying

That’s awesome! Median was almost in LB instead of Pooh. Crazy to think about. Median’s one of the mist unique rappers ever to this day

@TheDarceKnight by chance do you have a Median song produced by Big Dho called (I think) "Back Me Up"? Had the song years ago and was my favorite Median song but it was on an old phone that I never backed up on a cloud and I can't find that shyt anywhere now.

LB stayed on the road back then, plus that record was niche too, would be shocked if that would even reach RZA/Wu
"Two rappers got stuffed that night, I ain't sayin' no names
They know who, thank you for the chains"

Wu had zero problems putting hands and feet on nikkas. Blatantly making fun of his speech and what I'm sure is taking shots because of his views on Southern rap, could have gotten them hurt. They were likely too busy being international stars, doing show all over the globe, but nikkas love to instigate, so I'm sure someone said something. And affiliates looking for shine? And dissing the Abbott? Good luck with that:mjlol:
