Right. Big Boi & RBP have both developed respectable solo catalogs. Both are dope EMCEES who just had the misfortune of partnering with 2 of the nastiest brehs ever to touch a microphone.
The average fan might look at them as just the Scottie Pippen's of their groups; but Big Boi and Rapper Big Pooh can spit, for real. Real heads know.
Yep. Also Pooh started off as an actual writer. Short stories. Fiction. Essays. Etc.

His rhyme style was always very measured and very straightforward because he was never the guy that was super into cadences and delivery until maybe the late 00’s and early 10’s when he really started growing in that area.

He’s a lot like Evidence. They each did fine in their groups and didn’t get in the way, and even had great verses, but they truly evolved and matured as EMCEES during their solo careers.

Yea you can tell they were in the studio together writing this. The chemistry sounds better than ever. I didnt miss 9th at all on this. I knew Khrysis would come through but man he blew away my expectations and I should know better b/c Khrysis has proved time and time again he's a monster. The chemistry on this album is undeniable though man. Bandana was my AOTY but the feeling this is giving me is soul touching man. The Lawn days memories started popping up.
No doubt. I think it’s interest they didn’t speak about either their break up or 9th. It really feels like they’re looking 100% ahead, with positive energy, and no bitterness or interest in dredging up the past to fuel any gossip.

If they end up doing any interviews I’ll be interested to see how they handle questions about why 9th is not on here

It's always gonna an unsolved mystery to us fans why Te and Pooh had stopped talking all those years.....but it's TRUE fashion how they came back like it was never any issue between them and still kill it.....the true definition of keeping in house issues in house. Salute to them brothers

It's crazy cause Te and Stacks are in my personal top 10 but I'll be lying if I didnt say out of the combine solos between Pooh and Te Sleepers was and still my favorite

No doubt. Pooh wrote that they started working on this album on October and finished 2 weeks ago.

Also fun fact. They must’ve kept it real quiet. I had to send Khrysis a copy of the leak yesterday in order for him to even hear the joints he produced. I told him it leaked and asked him which beats he did and he said “yo send me that! I don’t even know. Lemme listen first and I’ll tell you.”

So I feel like they kept this one very low key.

Divine light better shine so bright and so white
It's like they got it outta (?) Is it Medellin, as in
Medellin Columbia , so white like the coke from there? Narcos reference?

The Lawn days memories started popping up.

He doin it for the washed up nikkas. I can dig it:jawalrus:
That verse made me think of Growin Old on ATLiens. Nothing wrong with knowing your place, getting older, and knowing where and when to go and when to lay low and let the youngsters be youngsters.

Me too. That was the last joint to get cut too. I fought for that one to stay on. No idea why it got cut. Khrysis murked that beat too.

Real shyt Sleepers is what put me up on Khrysis cuz laced Pooh with heat. Just imagine an 04-05 Te solo with Khrysis on the board....man
