@TheDarceKnight you got any info on this like how long they been working on this. I say this is like the last Tribe album where you can tell this was a moment in time piece not no ight let's jus throw something out there.

Honestly at this point 9th is not needed while we all would like to see the original 3 back for nostalgia purpose I think LB is fine just a 2 man duo....hell they got Khrysis who I feel is better than 9th and honestly GetBack showed they can mesh with other producers and it will come out fire....

I never understood all the hate that Big Pooh gets.
Breh might not be Nas, but he's far from :trash:.

I feel Little Brother has that Outkast effect where you have one whose more of a fan favorite whether its personality or lyrical (Te/3Stacks) to the point they sleep on the equal part (Pooh/Big Boi) whose not slouch in their own right. And its funny cause while Te and Stacks have kinda moved away from rapping Pooh and Big have continued and strengthen their pen game in the process

Not trying to spur debate but this summer has been great to us. Benny. MadGibbs. Nas. Black Milk. Little Brother. Westside Gunn. 38 Spesh and Big Ghost. Mach Hommy and Muggs. Showbiz and Milano. Currensy. KRIT.

Next week Alchemist’s album drops, Rapsody’s album drops, and if you like other genres, Tool drops for the first time in 13 years.

Right. Big Boi & RBP have both developed respectable solo catalogs. Both are dope EMCEES who just had the misfortune of partnering with 2 of the nastiest brehs ever to touch a microphone.
The average fan might look at them as just the Scottie Pippen's of their groups; but Big Boi and Rapper Big Pooh can spit, for real. Real heads know.

Exactly. This shyt where I need to be musically nowadays. All In A Day is bliss:lawd:
That last verse in there is a crazy blend of veteran schooling the youngsters, introspection, crazy flexing of skills, and jewels being dropped.

Not many like Tiggalo

:banderas:

Btw is this their first album with no solo joints? Not only that but it feels like this is maybe the first album they WROTE TOGETHER as opposed to writing 16s separately and coming together. Not saying it’s their best album. But that’s how they used to write. This seems...different.

Edit: I do remember phonte used to come up with the concepts and Pooh would write his 16. Maybe that’s why he felt more like a supporting cast more often? It sounds like they equally wrote this shyt together, and some of these songs I can even see being Pooh’s idea.

Yea you can tell they were in the studio together writing this. The chemistry sounds better than ever. I didnt miss 9th at all on this. I knew Khrysis would come through but man he blew away my expectations and I should know better b/c Khrysis has proved time and time again he's a monster. The chemistry on this album is undeniable though man. Bandana was my AOTY but the feeling this is giving me is soul touching man. The Lawn days memories started popping up.
