See, that's my major issue.

People keep saying that, or "ehh I don't expect much".

If that's the case, then don't even ATTEMPT to remake it. The original is a certified classic, if you can't do it justice then don't bother at ALL. Not everything needs to be revisited in order to "recapture the feeling"....and if it's simply for a money grab, that's even worse.

Leave classics alone.

That's Hollywood's problem, there's nothing original being made anymore.

After 30 plus years away from these characters i don't believe it's a way to do it properly. If they didn't do it in the early to mid 90's they probably should have left it alone.
