i suspected someone would respond in snark like this, but it won't change my opinion

superman had wayyy fewer crappy episodes than batman.

It's not snark. Well okay it's semi snark. I think it's a better show. And I think batman went to weirder places and did less conventional episodes, especially for what was supposed to be "kids tv"

superman was a lot more sci-fi and played around with more concepts imo

plus it's more upbeat and witty. batman was dull and somber sometimes.

superman was a perfect blend of action and adventure, the episodes just flowed better. I saw one writer who worked on both shows claim he had more fun on superman...and honestly i think it shows because superman was just a lot more fun and exciting.

plus it introduced the ongoing story arc
