Liquid Swords was a ridiculous fvckin album

Definitely one of my very favorite albums of all-time. Such a cinematic masterpiece. Following the cinematic masterpiece OB4CL just shows how ridiculous RZA was in his prime. Salute.

Also, definitely a winter album in the sense of it’s bleak and rather dark nature. The sinister and haunting production evokes thoughts of cold times and lyrically this album is unparalleled in its ability to paint such a vivid picture of the American ghetto. Brilliant.

It’s the only album outside of 36 Chambers that I’m rocking straight through.. I love all those early Wu albums but there’s something about this one.. it’s just amazing to me

I listen to OB4CL more, but they're both neck & neck...idk if I could choose tbh. CL I can play random songs off of more, LS I seem to play the whole album start to finish when I listen. CL in the summer, CL in the winter. Both are masterpieces.

I imagine in 1995 that everyone thought Deck had next? fukkin flood

Breh....that fukking flood robbed Hip-Hop of serveral classics. Guaranteed a Deck album released in 95/96 would've been as good as or better than Ironman and on par w/ LS & OB4CL. Deck is terrible at choosing beats without RZA's guidance.

Yes, the "ohhhhhh oooooo ohh oooooo oh oooooooo" vocal that's also in the 'skit intro' to 7th Chamber on 36 Chambers. RZA (and everyone) loves that sample.
