Pass. This movie looks like a bullshyt.

Wasn't a huge fan of John Wick movies neither. I thought they were decent, but inferior to The Raid.

When Tarantino did the Kill Bill, he hired a 6ft tall Uma Thurman. She looked convincing against other female characters and pretty good against asian male characters, who are naturally shorter. Plus she portrayed a character who hit the rock bottom and seeked the revenge really well.

Ana de Armas is not tall enough and is too cute for a gritty movie like that where objective is to kill as many opponents as possible. Having a small female character beat everyone like it's nothing just makes no fukking sense. It's a video game then.

Off the trailer alone, you know this movie will be vastly inferior to Kill Bill.

Looks like some good action. I got bored with the wick movies after part 2 however but I appreciate the effort they put into the scenes. Ana is very petite and it's extremely unrealistic but you have to turn your brain off for these shyts.

I promise you things will look better if you lower your expectations coming into something like this just a little bit. My goodness.

I said this after JW3, they should of just did a spin off with Halle's character and the two dogs called "Sofia and the High Table". Would have been more marketable and interesting. Halle did the training last time too and they could have done more with the dog scenes that audiences would have liked. The story also writes itself with her protecting her daughter and also running her own operation. Not to mention people saw her in action in that film too. This looked OK but not enough to move me sadly but I'll give it a chance. Clearly they increased Keanu's role to help market this even though it's a spin off taking place before JW4. Look at Norman getting that dough outside of Walking Dead. Good to see the whole original crew again though. Action looked pretty good. I'm a fan of the franchise so I'll give it a spin down the line.

I'll definitely check this out, but action movies where the female protagonist is like 90 lbs beating the shyt out of trained male goons really pushes suspension of belief to it's breaking point.
Yeah.

But I dunno for this one. They literally tell us they know that in one of the trailers.. so they tell the chick to cheat :skip:
