The problem with c00ns like Kanye is they use it in front of white audiences, which is hypocritical and very uncomfortable as fukk..and Kanye uttering 'N every 3 seconds comes off as a guy who grew up well but now overuses it to appear down.
Lionel has every right to be mad, but this weak white attention seeking generation with no backbone is basically trying to not just sell themselves out, but every Black person not connected to the gutter or rap music..allowing rappers to lead the way for Black people in general is brainless and dangerous. I hope this turns into a real live public spat so this issue is highlighted and done with.

kanye was doing a 2015 interpretation of Mr. nikka, Clearly obfuscating and recontextualizing nikka in each bar

The ignorance of being in the mall all day, being high around P.O's, getting fly. To the awareness of being society's vision of a nikka and finding enlightenment; from being around Farrakhan and how he has became a visionary amougst all his peers, yet he's still a nikka, yet he is THEE nikka

oh you mean Ye' shock value to Brits lily-livered presence?

yeah screaming nikka this and nikka that just seem like a easy route, i rather him say fuk these p*ssy ass cac on a song 20x better yet cac this and cac that

A lot of people don't know but the majority of the people that were on stage with Kanye were Uk hiphop artists. Out of the whole award show only like 1 black person was even nominated.
So the whole performance was a us vs.them or artists vs the suits theme. Shedding light on the hiphop artist that were getting shunned by the mainstream.

The whole point was for the song to be ignorant and aggressive and for the cacs in the crowd to be uncomfortable. Watch the performance on mute if you still don't get it.

First of all, a lot of white people resent the fact black people say it freely, and they can't. Hence Ritchie saying he doesn't appreciate Kanye(who white people like to shyt on) saying it.

Secondly, black celebrities are well known for saying things to appease white people. Every time some white celebrity(like Justin Bieber for instance) says a bunch of racist shyt about black people, all these black celebrities pop up and defend him, saying how he's not racist etc. etc. They chime in on defending white people more than they to Mike Brown, or Trayon, or that sister who was shot in the back by some cac up in Detroit.

I'm sick and tired of black people feeling the need to take the high road for white people, when nobody is taking the high road for us. This kiss ass, suck up mentality is only hurting us, because these renegage cacs and pigs feel like they can kill us, and harass us without consequence, and they're right.

i know what you mean but that isn't the case here with someone like lionel, he ain't like that. bruh has paid his dues and believe that bein' bought up in alabama (the deep south) there wasn't ever a time where he didn't endure some of form of racism :comeon:

but in this instance lionel is takin' the high road for "us" because he's sayin' the word is not ok for a black man to use. i think what he's tryin' to say is that we (black people) have to do our part by not usin' the word to help stop the use of it. it's a word that was used and still is in racist situations to degrade us as humans and it's a word that we have tried to flip the meanin' of and turn it around and use it another manner but in reality that can't be. the word "nikka" will always have it's roots from where it stems from and no matter how much we as black people use it as a term of endearment from time to time, it will never been a word like sayin' "brother", "buddy", or "friend". so i think what lionel is gettin' at is startin' from home (us, as black people) we need to do our part by not usin' the word so that we can show it's not acceptable and then there's no catch 22 of these some white people comin' along and sayin' the word on some "but but y'all use it, why can't i?" type bullshyt

but i know, we still have so far to go

I am positive Bro... nikka or even ****** is laughable at best as a derogatory word now because we embraced it. It is a made up fukking word...if you believe it means ignorant then you also shold believe it means King from the 13th sun meaning...you smack people based on their disrespect...not their words.

he's allowed to have his opinion but i disagree with it

even if it's just for shock value, that's something that needs to hold a certain importance in our society, feeling offended is a good thing sometimes

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean no one is.
