Ronaldinho was a kid. Rivaldo was over the hill. Cafu and Roberto Carlos were defenders. Ronaldo was the one scoring all the goals. He won the Golden Boot. Should have won the Golden Ball as well but the crakkka media gave it to the German goalkeeper.
Ronaldo was easily the driving force of that team. Without him they don't win a game.

ronaldo didnt score in the QF against england when rivaldo and ronaldinho did. rivaldo had other goals too that i can remember. of course ronaldo would have the most because he was their #9 and that was his main responsibilty on the pitch. rivaldo still had five goals in the world cup (one was a wrongful penalty) which is a lot for any player.

cause preventing the other team from scoring goals is pretty vital in soccer.besides you dont just need a goalscorer to win soccer games. you need a complete team.
