If Lions are bytch made then why do Tigers always try to run away when they get into fights with Lions? Tigers fight for a few minutes and then those bytches start looking for that escape hatch to get the fukk out of there. Lions ain't looking to run; they are trying to give out that fade. Lions literally fight to the death.

Tigers can not do shyt against a Lion's mane.

Breh this video has me dying. :mjlol:The first fight got lion mane hair flying all over the place. At 5:00, the brehette lion popped off with the white tiger and breh lion came through with the fukkery. :pachaha:
Kinda feel bad for the Tigers :francis:

But I've always been a cheetah fan anyway so :yeshrug:

Cheetahs always make me go:mindblown:. They can hit 70 mph and can hit 0-40 in 2 seconds. :mindblown::mindblown::mindblown:

Edit. I just peeped it's using its tail to turn. Nature. :wow:

:dahell: hyenas are good hunters

I wouldn't even put Hyenas there as good hunters because they're scavengers as well.

In the African jungle, they're not even top 3 amongst the wild cats when it comes to hunting. Leopards, Cheetahs, and Lions are ahead of hyenas.

Barbary Lion vs Siberian Tiger

Thread is quite extensive so I will link whatever relevant posts I can

clyde-beatty-in-the-lost-jungle-(1934)-large-picture.jpg

Clyde beatty stated in his 40 years working with them, he has handled 2,000 lions and tigers, with an act of 40 at a time. At that amount one must ask, how didnt the lions and tigers kill each other? In a 1951 news report, Clyde beatty stated he did lose some of the animals over the coarse of his career...50 tigers were killed by lions:Jungle Cats' Clash Not In Act -

Why didnt that guy named...Rajah...a usual tigers name lol...mention any of beattys casualty's that Clyde mentions in all three of his books, The big cage, Jungle performers and Facing the big cats:

1928 Lion named Prince killed a tigress trudy saving beattys life
1929 Lion named Nero Killed a tiger named Pasha saving his life
1930 A gang fight erupted in the result of 3 tigers killed by lions
1931 A Lion named duke and a lioness killed a tigress Snip and a tiger
1932 A lion named sammy killed a lioness
1933 A lion named Sultan killed a tiger name Tommy
1933 A lion named Caesar killed a tiger named Bobby
1933 A fight staged for the film big cage, a lion killed a tiger
1933 Two more tigers were killed in gang fights
1934 Accidental fights in performances were used for the lost jungle, a tigress nelly was killed by a lion
1934 The same lion Caesar killed two tigers and was taken out of the act
1935 Lion named detroit kills 3 tigresses, Alice, empress and slilka
1936 Beatty mentions in his long career he has 25 tigers killed by lions accidentally
1936 A lion named Boss tweeds fought and killed 3 bengal tigers at once
1936 Clyde mentions a lion killed a tiger named Poona
1937 Clydes wife Harriet witnesses a lion kill a tiger in his act.
1938 A lion named Memphis kills a tigress named Sehka
1947 Two lions Tarzan and Henry kills a tiger named Toona
1951 Another lion named prince, killed 3 tigresses and two tigers, Rosie, slieka 2, and sheba
1951 Clyde states 50 tigers were killed by lions in his 40 year career so far
1953 Two lions kill a bengal tiger in beattys act
1954 A lion named France killed two tigers
1957 His third lion named Caesar kills 2 tigers

Here you have historical art from many places depicting the same thing over and over again. The lions dominance over the tiger. They talk about how most people that cite tigers winning over Lions historically have no proof. Poets, Mosaic arts and artifacts say otherwise...

Here is a zoologists take on this
Barbary Lion vs Siberian Tiger
David salmoni

He's a zoologist, a renowned animal trainer, a television presenter and a producer with his own South Africa-based production company, his love for animals. In 1998, Salmoni began his apprenticeship as an animal trainer at Bowmanville Zoological Park near Toronto, one of the world's largest humane-credited providers of highly trained animals. Salmoni focused on large cat training and has been training large cats as well as other predators since then.Salmoni was offered a life-changing opportunity to be the first to travel with two captive-bred Bengal tigers to Africa and train them how to hunt and survive in the wild. Following this experience, Salmoni lived among African lions for three months in an attempt to show that lions and humans can co exsist in the same area.

David salmoni says:

He’d give the edge to a lion in a fight with a tiger, even with a 150 lb advantage.

“To get a tiger to want to fight you is pretty hard,” says Salmoni. “Tigers don’t like to fight. They hunt to kill and eat. That’s it.” Unlike lions, which grow up in groups and are used to sparring, tigers are solitary animals, responsible for their own food and survival, Salmoni says. They will take the risk to fight only “if they feel they have to.

So its not as if there were brain dead people who put it together, there were people with P.hd's on board...so I dont know where all these commentators go an criticize the team who havent an ounce of studying them or any history of working with either or even seeing a wild tiger and lion. As for the comments, I still dont understand the notion that the tiger is a lone hunter thus more experience, on basic logic this makes no sense. All this goes back to the notion that tigers...are suppose to be bigger.

Bert Nelson
Nelson Also Discredits Belief That Tigers Can Vanquish Lords Of Jungle
for their little while in the rings and the arena....You never know when one of these babies will go crazy on your hands," said Mr. Nelson. Tigers easier to train, too, he said. Lions Always Beat Tigers "I've seen lots of gang fights between lions and tigers-- we had a me this spring when we opened in Chicago," he asserted...The tiger always attacks the lion by rolling over on his back and going for the throat When he goes for the throat he runs into a mane two or three inches thick and the same mane extends all down ie underside of the lion's body.

Insightful and excellent post. I stand corrected.

This particular excerpt stands out:

“To get a tiger to want to fight you is pretty hard,” says Salmoni. “Tigers don’t like to fight. They hunt to kill and eat. That’s it.” Unlike lions, which grow up in groups and are used to sparring, tigers are solitary animals, responsible for their own food and survival, Salmoni says. Personally, I just went based on the skills, agility, canine, and viciousness - since both don't really cross paths in the wild...and tigers have the edge. However, experience in sparring/fighting gives lions the edge, according to someone who has witnessed it. So, I'll have to go with his submission.

Another interesting topic would be Lions vs. Gorilla since gorillas also have experience in sparring/fighting and their canines are much more vicious than lions'.

There was an excerpt in that thread about how before they were extinct Asiatic lions were known to cross paths with and kill Siberian tigers.

They have also documented bear and big cat fghts but none I saw of a gorilla

How did this happen in the wild? The chances are very slim due location and where their natural habitats. If it's isolated cases, you can't go by that, since I'm sure the lions would've been in a big group vs. one wandering tiger.

Anyway, based on the point made earlier, in the excerpt I quoted, I'll agree and give the edge to lions due to experience. Experience sometimes can have the edge over a vicious killer. Tigers are straight up killers.

This is a video that shows some of their battles and it's mostly 50/50 even when the tigers are smaller and are being attacked by a group of lions.

1.) Tigers fight like big ass house cats. I prefer their style over lions :pachaha:

2.) Tigers seem to have the upper hand in the first 2 minutes of those fights. It's like they're hitting lions with some new shyt they ain't never seen

  • Tiger gets on hind legs
  • Lion approaches
  • Tiger two pieces the lion with dem paws:gladbron:
  • Tiger quickly transitions to the ground faster than a house cat :krs:
  • Tiger goes for the kill by attacking bottom of the lions throat :ooh:

At this point the tiger got the lion like

But it just can't sink it's teeth into the Lion :yeshrug:

At that point it just seems like the Lion starts overpowering the tiger :manny:
