Most of them are probably confusing wack with average. Lil' Wayne and Juelz Santana perfectly complimented each other around that time, so why weren't people tripping all over themselves to say Juelz was "best rapper alive", when they were both the regional equivalents of each other? Had Juelz started pushing that best rapper alive garbage, I wonder if y'all would have started stanning him too.

Most overrated rapper in history. Damn shame he’s considered a legend to certain folks. Aside from the Hot Boys group, he’s only a legend due to longevity and sheer volume of music. It’s like kids that get perfect attendance all throughout school. Awarded for simply existing.

I think it's a management issue. From the documentaries we have seen, he just gets to do whatever he wants. He clearly works very hard when you count how much music he releases. But It doesn't help that he releases everything he makes. Work hard for a year or two and amalgamate your best lines, verses and beats he would come out with a great project. That's how you get to have classic albums and songs with replay value. You think artists like kendrick or nas don't record tons of music? They just go about choosing their best work to present.
