It Is Niether Jay nor Nas's responsibility to hold these rappers hands, and in most cases when they did try to put their fellow NY brethren on it was met with ungratefullness. Nas and Jigga's main job as rappers is to RAP at the HIGHEST level possible, them continuing to succeed at this isn't "holding other rappers back" hell, Jay-Z was on Saigon's debut album from last year. I don't see how either of them hold any responsibility at this point towards anyone but themselves and thier legacies.
