The legends don't need to help the new bloods do a goddamn thing. Was Rakim "helping" Nas or did Nas write and record classic verses and albums HIMSELF that appealed to the masses? Did Kool g Rap "help" Jay-Z or did Jay-Z grind his ass off for YEARS, starting his OWN record label, and craft hit album after hit album that appealed to the masses by HIMSELF?
