Only countries that might resist extraditing a non citizen would be China, Iran and Russia. You would be liable to get used as a bargaining chip to get one of theirs out in the end.If he had fled to Italy, he would have been extradited with quickness. Very few countries that can provide comfortable living without having to worry about being extradited. And the feds can wait, and they will always win. The moment he flees, his accounts are going to be frozen. Plenty of guys have been on the run for years, and they get caught.
Those days have long gone, in the 80s and even the 90s it was easier to flee. But now things have changed significantly, which means it is easier to track a fugitive.
Plus if you do not have overseas bank accounts in those countries already set up with money, you might as well be broke. There are very few ways to get away from the U.S. when they want you, it is what it is.
