Cmon now. If a mother was rich and successful, and the father was broke and couldn't afford 9k over 8 entire months. Would any judge ever put the child in the fathers custody? We hate to admit it, but forcing a kid to live with the poor parent just because she's the momma is kinda selfish. For all we know the kid has a great relationship with both parents,and both are good people. So why subject the poorer one to the financial burden then turn around and blame the rich one for not chipping in more than they are legally obligated to, just because you want the same lifestyle as the rich parent?

Child support isn’t a all in one payment. You can be ordered to pay CS AND still have to half tuition/extracurricular activities/medical bills etc.
