Nothing, racism and prejudice are used interchangeably so when they hear black people can't be racist they try to correct the statement. This has the opposite effect too as some dumbasses think that black people can't be racist means we can't be prejudiced because we lack institutional power.

thats not racism that is prejudice. Racism is a collective systematically codifying their prejudice to harm another race. Black people do not have the power to be racist in this country.
This is why entertainers just can't and shouldn't be at the forefront of the discussion on black issues and politics.

Because black people are cautious of dealing with white people as a RESPONSE to how we have been treated, and I’m not just talking about history. I’m talking about our day to day lives. A White person can be nice to you, and still be racist. This is something a lot of Black people haven’t learned yet.
