Black people can't even be racist.

Lil Baby is opening up about his feelings on police brutality and racism.

The Atlanta rapper tackled some serious topics for Rolling Stone’s August 2020 issue, on which the “Close Friends” musician graces the cover. In the profile, the 25-year-old brings to light his own experiences with racism as well as the violent run-ins he’s had with police officers.

“I’ve been a victim of police brutality,” the "No Sucker" star revealed. “I’ve been in prison where white officers control you. I’ve been in a court system where white judges give you a different time than they would give someone white.”

Speaking of one terrifying experience, Baby recalled having a physical incident with an officer who he said “grabbed me and took me to a room where there’s no camera.”

”We have a physical altercation and left me in a room for about an hour, he added. “I’m in there yelling and screaming. I’m so accustomed to it, we don’t even make it no big deal.”

The “Bigger Picture” artist, who is all-too-familiar with the plights caused by racism and corrupted police, added that — even before George Floyd’s fatal arrest — such instances of injustice were “an everyday thing where I’m from.”

Elsewhere in the feature, the artist touched on The subject of who can perpetuate racism, and made the controversial argument for reverse racism, claiming that “Black people are racist too.”

“To me, a racist is someone who treats a different race than theirs a different way than they would treat theirs,” he explained. “I feel like if you’re a Black person and you treat all Black people one way and all white people one way, you’re racist. I’m not a racist, so I give a white person a chance to talk and actually we get into it before I can say I don’t like you or not. And I feel the same way about a Black person. You ain’t gon’ be my buddy just ’cause you’re Black. Just straight up.”

How are we denying opportunities to people?

how are we segregating them in their own communities?

how are we denying them access to capital?

how are we promoting negative stereotypes against them?

this idea that black people are racist on means of power is just read ridiculous cause we have none.
