Probably got started on IW straight after 7. The Yakuza games are known for reusing assets

It was probably a long time before those developers went home.

That doesn't explain the 99 other games that came out in between 7 tho. Even with reusing assets there's still a gang of cutscenes and quests that aren't reused and them shyts be crisp. nikkas got marvel movie style animators or some shyt.

I've expressed this stance in the past and I'll express it again. No game should lock New Game Plus behind a paywall. Doing so hurts community good will and replayability, a net negative in the long run. It should be a base feature or free update for any game that supports it.
