Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Was in Philly yesterday love the place but damn I felt like I was in Brooklyn 1999 each time I’m there.

Their hustle game there is insane. This dude had a table selling Toilet paper and detergent.

Was at Max’s and there must have been ten different hustlers walking inside trying to sell something lmao.

To make it easier here's a quick map. The Red is Caribbean Spanish like PR/DR. They are in North Philly from like lehigh up to the boulavard or RT1 from 8th to frankford ave. They are in the red circle. There used to be a big PR population near the art museum on Spring Garden but they got gentrified a long time ago.

The Black circle is mostly black population and the green is white folks (this is just north philly) South Philly has mostly mexicans/ italians and asians from broad st east and black from broad st west with some gentrification in both area.

Hope this clears it up a bit.

My cousins live mostly in Oak Lane Mount Airy SOME WEST AND a few in North Philly. I don't know my way around the city well at all though. I've never been to the the Latino sections of Philly. Philly seems very segregated in some places

Yea those areas are mostly black. As for the latino sections not really anything to go there for unless you trying to get spanish food. In the early 2000's the corner bars turned to clubs and they were really poppin and there were after hours...but now it's pretty dry scene...

But philly is pretty segregated but gentrification is changing all that...yuppies are gentrifying like crazy here

As of 2015 Philly's murder rate was higher than Chicago's. Atlanta's murder rate was higher than Chicago's too. Chicago's only problem is the stupid jackass gang members and the brutal fukking winters. Otherwise it is a World Class city.

Rank City Homicide Rate (Per 100,000 People)
1 St. Louis (Missouri) 59.30
2 Baltimore (Maryland) 55.40
3 Detroit (Michigan) 43.80

I swear to god when I go to Atlanta I’m always curious as to where these murders occur cause the city does not look or feel dangerous to me

Right.

You can walk all around Bankhead, Metro, and Gresham Rd. No one will bother you.

Try that in South Memphis or Orange Mound... or anywhere in Chicago...:francis:

Anywhere in Chicago? You have clearly never been to Chicago. Most of Chicago's shyt is in two spots: on the West side and on the South side. If you are not in either of those spots then you will be aight.

I didn't notice shyt in Memphis, but a few fools that were run out of Chicago.

That is the same way that I feel about Orlando, Nashville and Memphis.

Realistically looking at your list Orlando and Nashville rates aren’t even high. People might think it’s high cause it made the list but 10 per 100K is low to me.

Chicago at 17 isn’t high either but I think the reason Chicago gets a bad rep cause for a city of over 2 million 17 per 100K might be a bit high.

I remember the year NYC got 2,245 murders in year I think the murder rate wasn’t even 30 per 100,000.

But wait up isn’t the south side the largest area of the city? Is all the southside bad? There isn’t one good area?

It is just spots. Wherever the drug boys are then it is going to be fugged up. The Mexicans are bringing in the dope and most of them are on the Southside and the broahs distributing are mostly over there and on the West side. I grew up on the Westside and I owned a condo on the Southside. It is all hit and miss. It is spots, but a person needs to know where those spots are or they could get fugged up.

I don’t care how ghetto an area is. I’m still walking through. I’m not afraid of my people!

So here are three videos I shot coming off the Somerset Stop in Kensington. There were homeless camps out of site along the Amtrak tracks that pass through this neighborhood. The city kicked all of the campers out of the tracks and chopped down all the trees. This forced all the addicts back on the street and this area is overflowing with heroine addicts. Coming off the stop they do drugs in the open on the steps. I have to watch my step because there are needles and needle caps everywhere. In one of the videos you can even see a need receptacle for used needles it's that bad. There's a AA/NA spot at the bottom of the step they hang out and get food but yea we call this place zombieland. I had these videos on my phone for a while just uploaded for this thread.

shyt looks like The Tenderloin circa 80s-2016:picard:
