I can cite numerous sources to corroborate this. You're incorrect.
As much as I dislike Islam and most Muslims this post is correct. @Datcrud Arabs never made it to West Africa fam, Islam existed among Black West Africans through trade with Nomadic Berber tribes several of which are black themselves. Following this it was the Soninke who spread Islam to other Mande groups during the fall of Ancient Ghana. Outside of the Almoravid conquest of Ancient Ghana (there's debates among scholars on whether this actually happened or not) Islam was never forced violently on the people of West Africa.
However that doesn't negate the obvious passages about enslaving non muslim populations in Islam. Overall I just find Islam to be a belligerent, barbaric religion which teaches violence and intolerance.....others will disagree but that's just my opinion....

Not much WE can do because African Americans and other Diaspora Blacks are dealing with our own issues and racists......what countries are these people mainly migrating from? and why doesn't THEIR countries come to their aid?
As people once enslaved and now we are the most wealthy blacks in the world - morally we owe them much more than lip service. They don't have to be our kin.

This shyt has been going on for years and y'all thinkfor Trump and his Travel Ban is going to fix anything? Almost every first world is trying to milk Africa for what it's worth, not just Arabs. Even our phones, laptops, Tv's, and computers are made from minerals dug up by slaves in Africa.
I'd rather not take conservatives bait about Muslims. They never talk about islamic Enslavement of blacks unless it justifies their enslavement to blacks. It's their white supremacist agenda and theirs only.
Liberals don't even talk about it. The west won't ever talk about it in America because they want to perpetrate the myth that slavery was solely a race thing when it wasn't.

Rich arabs do this with a lot of ppl all over. I read a story about some model being kidnapped in some Euro place to be sold in black market to some arab. I know Qatar and Dubai has a lot of black/asians slaves as well.
